AI visibility tools that also build pages

Guide · · 6 min read

If you have writers and a CMS, a tracker may be all you need. If you don’t, compare what happens after the report as carefully as the dashboard.

We make Seen42, so read this guide with that in mind. Details come from each vendor's own pages, linked below with the date we checked them. Confirm current plans before you buy.

What to compare

  • Prompts and assistants. How many prompts you can track, on which assistants, and whether some cost extra.
  • Where the workflow ends. A suggestion, a draft and a published page are different deliverables. Ask who writes, who approves and where the page lives.
  • Fact checking. Generated pages need review, especially prices, customer claims and statements about competitors.
  • Measurement after publishing. Check whether the tool re-checks the same prompts and shows when each page went live.

The options

Cituna tracks seven AI engines, suggests question ideas from your Google Search Console data, and turns a question into an article in one click or automatically. It publishes to WordPress, Shopify and Sanity directly, to sites built from files through a GitHub commit, and to any other CMS through a webhook, and you choose whether to review each article first. The first scan is free; Starter is $49 a month after a 3-day trial that needs a card.

Hatter runs agents for SEO and AI answers: they research gaps against named competitors, draft articles in your voice, and publish them after your approval to a hub on your own domain, with lead capture and tracking. It costs $1,500 a month, or $4,500 a month with a managed team and a six-month minimum, with a free trial.

Profound is an enterprise platform with tracking on up to nine engines and agents that draft content and can publish it to your CMS, with or without a review step. For brands it offers a free trial and custom Enterprise plans; agencies have their own plan.

Seen42 checks your prompts on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews, explains where competitors are named instead of you, and builds and hosts comparison, facts and guide pages from your own facts. Paid plans are Starter $39 (15 prompts, 5 pages a month), Growth $89 (25 prompts, 8 pages) and Pro $189 (50 prompts, 15 pages). The Free plan runs one check of 10 prompts on ChatGPT and Gemini when you sign up.

How to choose

If you want articles sent to your own CMS, with automatic publishing as an option, look at Cituna. If you want a managed search marketing team, look at Hatter. If you are an enterprise team, look at Profound. If you want a small number of carefully checked answer pages, hosted for you, with every claim checked against your own facts, try Seen42.

Questions, answered

Not if you have writers and a CMS. A tracker will show the gaps and your team can write the pages. A tool that builds pages helps when nobody has time to.
It depends on what the tool checks. Unreviewed pages can state wrong prices or unsupported claims about you or competitors. Seen42 never publishes a new page without your approval.
