Comparison · · 5 min read

Both tools show how AI assistants answer the questions your buyers ask. Peec AI goes deeper on analytics. Seen42 focuses on the work after the report: the page, the hosting and the re-check.

We make Seen42, so read this comparison with that in mind. Competitor details come from their own pages, linked below with the date we checked them. Plans change, so confirm the current details before you buy.

What Peec AI does

Peec AI is built for AI search analytics. Its app has areas for brand insights and perception, prompts and prompt discovery, sources with gap analysis, an Optimize area with suggested actions and their impact, AI crawler analytics and shopping. Setup takes under ten minutes by Peec's own guide: you add about ten prompts, accept the competitors it detects in the answers, and see first insights within 24 hours.

Each project tracks three AI models by default. Peec prices its plans (Starter, Pro, Advanced and Enterprise) on prompt usage, which it calculates as tracked prompts × active models × tracking frequency. Starter is €85 a month for 50 prompts on three models; the pricing page showed us euros, and Peec's product reference lists it at $95. Its Optimize area can now turn an action for one of your pages into an editable draft, and it writes briefs for new pages.

What Seen42 does

Seen42 checks your prompts on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews, explains where competitors are named instead of you, and builds and hosts comparison, facts and guide pages from your own facts. Paid plans are Starter $39 (15 prompts, 5 pages a month), Growth $89 (25 prompts, 8 pages) and Pro $189 (50 prompts, 15 pages). The Free plan runs one check of 10 prompts on ChatGPT and Gemini when you sign up.

Where they differ

  • Depth of analytics. Peec measures more: brand perception, crawler visits and shopping results, alongside sentiment. Seen42 measures whether you are named and cited, by whom you are replaced and which sources answers rely on, and once a month scores how the answers that name you describe you.
  • The work after the report. Peec ranks actions and can draft edits to your existing pages and briefs for new ones. Seen42 builds the new page from your own facts, checks every claim, hosts the approved page and marks it on your trend.

When Peec AI is the better fit

Choose Peec AI if you already have writers and a CMS, or need brand perception, crawler analytics or shopping visibility.

When Seen42 is the better fit

Choose Seen42 if you are a small team without a content function and want the page built, checked and hosted, with all five assistants included from the Starter plan.

Questions, answered

Yes, in a simpler form. Once a month, Seen42 scores how AI answers that name you describe you (positive, neutral or negative) and shows the phrases behind the score. It does not score brand perception or competitors' sentiment.
For a small team that wants the pages for its gaps built, checked and hosted, yes. For deep analytics such as brand perception, crawler analytics and shopping visibility, Peec AI remains the stronger choice. Other Peec AI competitors include Profound, OtterlyAI and Semrush.
Yes. Some teams use an analytics tool for broad monitoring and Seen42 to build and host the pages for specific gaps.
